P.S- Before flying a drone in the mountainous areas of California, without a doubt, make sure that you take a deep study on the place you wish to fly over. All the Forest Rangers that I have met during my stay in California did not know much where exactly one can freely fly an unmanned aerial vehicle and not get fined by the Federal Aviation Administration. Always educate yourself.
