William Preising is a Photographer, Filmmaker, FAA-Certified Drone Pilot, High-Tech Digital Marketer, REALTOR® and CEO of Preising Productions LLC, combining ten years of cinematography experience. William has always been perfecting the art of motion-picture photography and filming, providing advanced and unique services to each and every client.
THE PREISING LEGACY
My name is William Preising, great great grandson of the German photographer, Theodor Preising, whom has inspired me to continue the Preising legacy. Our family’s history is a long one, and most likely you would not believe me, but I shall tell you anyways. One of the main reasons I do what I do today is because, more than a century ago, a German photographer survived the World War I as a soldier and photographer for the German Empire, watched his comrade-in-arms die in his arms, saw his own homeland being almost completely destroyed by a brother’s war, post-war severe hunger and poverty, traveled by sea all the way to Argentina and later Brazil, documented Brazil from north to south with his Leika, in 1936 hired a pilot to fly him as close as possible from the German dirigible Hindenburg, taught his son the art of photography, during World War II he, for being a photographer, was considered a German Spy, traveled all over Brazil taking photos of the agriculture way of life, and then, in 1962 Theodor peacefully passed away during his sleep.
